The Drum Ensemble of DDM (Dharma Drum Mountain) Vancouver Center is composed of a group of drumming enthusiasts who associate themselves with the fundamental concepts of DDM. Through the integration of drumming and Chan meditation practice, drummers learn to cultivate their inner selves, to attain a keener and calmer awareness, bringing the purity and solidity of life into their performance. In the meanwhile, essence of the Chan method is transmitted through the music and in the vitality of the performance the drummer will attain a blissful harmony with the drum.
